Surveylink France Terms and Conditions Terms of Engagement I like to work very closely with clients which I find works well for both parties. i. As an independent surveyor, the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors rules of appointment will apply and govern my professional conduct and arbitrate in any disagreements we may have. English law to apply. ii. Up to half the agreed or estimated total fee for the commission is to be paid as a deposit. The balance to be paid when the report(s) is prepared, but before receipt by the client. Any additional work will be charged at £40.00 (forty pounds sterling) per hour paid on either a weekly or monthly invoice basis. Any agreed travelling expenses will be similarly invoiced. iii. On larger projects the client will be appraised of any fee charges that are likely to exceed the agreed budget as and when they arise. iv. My commitment to the client will be total in terms of professional judgement, honesty, integrity and equity, and with all third parties with whom I deal/engage.
